A British Chevening scholar and a graduate of University College London in MSc Security Studies, Natechanok is a versatile researcher in the field of ethnic conflicts, especially those in Southeast Asian region. She conducted a thorough and a groundbreaking research in the Southern Thailand conflict and in Moro, the Philippines to identify factors that contribute to the successful and failed peace processes in both cases. Prior to this, she also contributed to better understanding towards the Muslim perceptions in the Southern Thailand conflict, using research tools- Critical Discourse Analyses in Applied Linguistics- to pinpoint the influence of the media on such conflict. After obtaining MSc in Security Studies, Natechanok worked at Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Thailand to drive awareness of the situations in Israel-Palestine conflicts and provided non-discriminatory reports, analyses, and public statements to bring issues to awareness of the residents in Thailand and to contribute to peace processes between Israel and Palestine. Her dedication towards peace and security also covers mobilizing volunteers, holding projects and campaign activities in coordination with academia, NGOs, the UN, civil society groups, etc. to support democratic developments and human rights in Israel-Palestine conflicts.
