Matthew Sparks is the Director of External Affairs at Next-Gen 5.0 and is also involved in the network's Anthropogenic Climate Change & Security project.

In the past, he has held positions at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center, the Intelligence & Terrorism Center, and has worked as a consultant for a variety of private companies.

Matthew holds a B.A. in Political Science from Henderson State University and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Haifa.
