Emma Clark is a soon-to-be graduate of The University of Glasgow’s Global Security Program. Her interests are located primarily in the ethics and morality of terrorism, but also include de-radicalisation programmes and counter-terrorism methods. She received an MA (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 in International Relations. Her current thesis project is looking at the role of ethics and morality in the propaganda of al-Qaeda in relation to suicide bombings in the West, focused on speeches produced by the al-Qaeda leadership and those responsible for conducting the attacks in question.
